The voting public nationally has stated its position on oil industry subsidies loud and clear. It wants them done away with immediately! How Pledges Can Work
How will candidate pledges for progressive positions on key issues be effective? How will this work? Intimidation! We will either make the toadying hypocrites sign the pledges out of fear that they will lose the election, or we will run them out of office by instigating voter outrage for voting against the laws the vast majority of Americans want.
