Just Making A Buck
America is the biggest arms exporter in the world. We sell some of the most efficient killing equipment ever manufactured, the most lethal and devastating weaponry in the history of the world. Then we wonder why there’s so much death and destruction as wars break out, as jihadists seek revenge, as terrorists inflict their homicidal and genocidal agenda on anyone that gets in their way. It’s beyond ridiculous. It’s like a person jumping into a lake and wondering why he’s wet. We reap what we sow. Continue reading

What Red State vs. Blue State Looks Like To An Ant
We are being kept disorganized and submissive by focusing on what divides us instead of what unites us. Bickering and name-calling only postpones serious efforts to address the greatest challenges we have ever faced and assures the inevitability of collapse and possible extinction of the human race. It’s time to put aside the “gang colors” of political parties and get some serious work done. We can start with the current election. If candidates don’t want to talk about real issues, they don’t deserve our votes. Continue reading

Throwing My Vote Away?
Voting for either of those privileged-class monsters, Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump, is the definition of throwing away a vote, of surrendering the right of choice, and rendering voting a meaningless exercise. Continue reading

“P. S. I Love You!”
For a tiny, some would argue sociopathic minority, ‘more’ is never a question. It’s an answer! The only answer. Continue reading

Tonya Harding School of International Diplomacy
I believe that it’s high time that Harvard or Princeton or other equally prestigious institution of higher learning set aside the resources and proper institutional setting for perpetuating and promoting America’s current visionary philosophy of imperial rule, and appropriately call it the “Tonya Harding School of International Diplomacy”. Continue reading
Putting Boots (Birkenstocks) on the Ground: Part VI
When we identify candidates who are on our side — the ones who willingly sign contracts for those specific things the vast majority of us want done — we unite behind them, a huge voting bloc of citizens who are serious about having true representative government — real democracy — in America. Candidate contracts are the surefire way of determining what candidates are on our side. Continue reading
Putting Boots (Birkenstocks) on the Ground: Part II
Americans actually agree on a lot of important things. Most things! But the astonishing and powerful consensuses get lost in the trivialization, marginalization, and other weapons of mass distraction and sheer propaganda we all endure just trying to find out and understand what’s going on. We are teased, taunted, cajoled, manipulated, titillated, dazzled, and generally overwhelmed by the main stream media. Thus we lose focus. We can’t keep our eye on the prize, because by watching television we have no idea what the prize even is.
Turn off your TVs. Hide your smart phones under the mattress. Let the screensaver on your computer do whatever it does — swimming fish, go-go dancers, shooting stars — and don’t disturb it to watch the latest Trump riots or primary predictions. Go talk to someone. Your neighbor, your cousin, your kid’s teacher, that lady down the street who is always working in her garden, the guy who polishes his car three times a week. Bring cupcakes. Get to know them . . . and talk. Continue reading

Putting Boots (Birkenstocks) on the Ground: Part I
A president is a lightning rod. But a president is not the lightning. We the people are the lightning. We the people are the energy, the force, the real movers-and-shakers behind fundamental change. We the people and only we the people can shape the future we want. Continue reading

There were over 28,000 Prince deaths last year.
America is being medicated into a stupor. Television is a drug of sorts but that’s another topic. Kids of all ages are being medicated, painkillers and psychotropics (anti-depressants, anti-psychotics) are promoted with the same abandon as fast food, Pokemon Go and lingerie. We have a War on Drugs which is a running joke, an FDA in the pockets of Big Pharma, a 15-year war in Afghanistan which revived its poppy production and the country is now responsible for 90% of the world’s heroin. In the U.S., addiction is skyrocketing, deaths by overdose are skyrocketing, abuse of prescription drugs is skyrocketing, Big Pharma profits are skyrocketing. Isn’t there something wrong with this picture? Continue reading →
