The Ultimate Wedge Issue Test

Enough is enough! Which starts with us no longer being gullible fools. Those in power will continue to lie to us, continue rigging the system in their favor and that of their patrons, the privileged elite, if we let them. Time to get serious about installing a government of the people, by the people, for the people. By electing “people’s candidates” who have proven themselves worthy of our vote. Continue reading

“Daddy is a drunk!”

I’ve spent at least ten years talking about “regime change in Washington DC”, trying to explain exactly what that entails, and why it’s necessary for the survival of our nation. Daddy is a drunk! It’s an allegory. Continue reading

People Power – Part 2: Focus and Unite

History teaches us that the more ennobling, inspiring periods of history, those occasional surges that we deem progress, result from substantial numbers of people focusing on the challenges and uniting their energies, dedication, determination, creativity and time. Focus and unite . . . the only solution. Continue reading

Just Making A Buck

America is the biggest arms exporter in the world. We sell some of the most efficient killing equipment ever manufactured, the most lethal and devastating weaponry in the history of the world. Then we wonder why there’s so much death and destruction as wars break out, as jihadists seek revenge, as terrorists inflict their homicidal and genocidal agenda on anyone that gets in their way. It’s beyond ridiculous. It’s like a person jumping into a lake and wondering why he’s wet. We reap what we sow. Continue reading

What Red State vs. Blue State Looks Like To An Ant

We are being kept disorganized and submissive by focusing on what divides us instead of what unites us. Bickering and name-calling only postpones serious efforts to address the greatest challenges we have ever faced and assures the inevitability of collapse and possible extinction of the human race. It’s time to put aside the “gang colors” of political parties and get some serious work done. We can start with the current election. If candidates don’t want to talk about real issues, they don’t deserve our votes. Continue reading

The Hands-Down Ultimate Super-Bowl of Showdowns!

You know how on the last page of a book it says, ‘The End’. Then you put the book down and life pretty much goes on like normal, except either you need to return the book to the library or take it down to a used book store and get a couple bucks for it. Well, this time we really mean it. So pay attention! Continue reading

Let’s Try To Figure This Out

The bulk of climate change denial studies is generated by bought-and-paid-for lackeys who WORK FOR THE FOSSIL FUEL INDUSTRY! While it represents only 3% of the scientific publications on this critical topic, the PR campaign by giant oil, gas, and coal corporations has been highly effective, so the public remains evenly split. Even for those who are concerned about the threat of climate change to civilization, the self-serving deceptions by participants in the recent COP21 fiasco produce a luster of false hope and delusion. Fortunately, this fools no one who is really paying attention. Unfortunately, it portends bleak prospects for any massive substantial reform of our economic and environmental policies. Coordinated disinformation and willful denial are a devastating combination. Continue reading

Let’s just shake hands and smile for the camera!

John Kerry will represent the U.S. at the upcoming UN climate conference next month in Paris. But he can’t be bothered with legalities. He’s there to have a nice chat, smile and wave for the cameras, and tell the world America is really concerned about climate change. He really cares and so does Obama … cross their hearts and hope to die. Continue reading

From the – to the +

As citizens, we must decide how we are going to go about shaping our society and country, how our democracy will function, how the decisions get made, how much of the responsibility to ourselves and future generations we’re going to entrust and delegate to our leadership elite, the elected or de facto pillars of society, and what remains inviolably ours. To implement those decisions and new alignment of power, the sane and sensible majority must wrest the power from the misguided, greed and hubris-driven 1%, and put ‘We the people’ back in the political equation. My new book, “Candidate Contracts: A Manifesto (A New Front and Perhaps Last Stand at Establishing Representative Democracy in America)”, arriving in late May or early June, will point the way for American citizens to establish their rightful place in shaping the future of our nation for themselves and future generations.
