Just Making A Buck
America is the biggest arms exporter in the world. We sell some of the most efficient killing equipment ever manufactured, the most lethal and devastating weaponry in the history of the world. Then we wonder why there’s so much death and destruction as wars break out, as jihadists seek revenge, as terrorists inflict their homicidal and genocidal agenda on anyone that gets in their way. It’s beyond ridiculous. It’s like a person jumping into a lake and wondering why he’s wet. We reap what we sow. Continue reading

Conscious . . . Conscience . . .
Question of the day: How do we deal with people who are fully conscious, basically stable and mentally sound, have a conscience, but who ignore what that conscience is saying to them? Continue reading

Irony Deficiency Anemia
Irony can be mildly amusing or horribly grating. The inability of our political leaders to appreciate the self-sabotaging irony of their misguided policies will ultimately destroy America as we know it. Continue reading

Compassion Is The Fashion
There is something we could do something about right now. Something we should and must do. That’s ending the illegal, immoral, and self-sabotaging murder of innocents with drones. It’s estimated that just during the Obama presidency, as many as 900 completely innocent people have been killed by these diabolical weapons of our errant, self-defeating foreign policy. A lot of the dead are children. Continue reading

Real News
Wonder what you may have missed for the three weeks that the soap opera of the shutdown and debt ceiling crisis monopolized the news? Here are some clues. This is only a start but perhaps offers some perspective. Continue reading

The Right To Bear Nuclear Arms
Guns don’t kill people. People kill people! Since this is irrefutable logic, I began to wonder why it has been applied so narrowly. The truth is, guns are just one form of lethal entertainment. Thanks to the amazing advances in science and technology, there is a cornucopia of devices which fit the legal definition of “arms” as referred to in our Constitution. It seems to me, the legal framework and the rationale would apply equally to nuclear weapons. Continue reading

Terrific Job Opportunity
The Air Force just announced that due to a huge shortage of pilots to fly the unmanned Predator and Reaper drones we are using to terrorize the planet, they will be training more of them by the hundreds over the coming months. Continue reading

The Case For Female Circumcision
What twisted logic could possibly justify such an inhumane, degrading and completely offensive practice, perhaps the ultimate assault on the dignity of females __ the mutilation of their genitals? Why would you want to know? Continue reading →
