Why Donald Trump is not as horrible as Hillary Clinton … and why you should vote for Jill Stein.
Vote for Jill Stein! If that ends up electing Donald Trump, so be it. He’s a buffoon and will accomplish nothing. He doesn’t know his way around Washington DC and will be totally isolated. If Hillary gets elected, we will end up in a major war. She knows her way around the nation’s capital and is supported by Wall Street, the big banks, the multinational corporations, the MIC, and worst of all, the neocon-infested government and media organizations. These folks know only four things: War, profit, more war, more profit. Yes, Hillary may end up being the nation’s first female president. But she’ll also end up being the nation’s last president. Peace is as American as . . . ?
Has America ever really had a peace movement? Actually not. But peace signs are great! Simple and attractive. Make a great tattoo. Charm bracelet. Bumper sticker. They’re compact, symmetrical. Fit nicely anywhere. PEACE, BROTHER! Continue reading

Oratory as a Weapon of Mass Deception
You can pretty much tape a copy of Obama’s speech at the U.N. this week to the wall, throw darts at it, and end up 9 times out of 10 hitting a half-truth, outright lie, or manipulative mangling of reality. I won’t even try to cover everything which puts this in the all-time Top 10 for gross misuse of oratorical gifts and abuse of the powerful platform he is accorded as president. Just a few comments along the way, made when I was able to get my gag reflex under control . . . Continue reading

From the – to the +
As citizens, we must decide how we are going to go about shaping our society and country, how our democracy will function, how the decisions get made, how much of the responsibility to ourselves and future generations we’re going to entrust and delegate to our leadership elite, the elected or de facto pillars of society, and what remains inviolably ours. To implement those decisions and new alignment of power, the sane and sensible majority must wrest the power from the misguided, greed and hubris-driven 1%, and put ‘We the people’ back in the political equation. My new book, “Candidate Contracts: A Manifesto (A New Front and Perhaps Last Stand at Establishing Representative Democracy in America)”, arriving in late May or early June, will point the way for American citizens to establish their rightful place in shaping the future of our nation for themselves and future generations. Obama’s Neocons and Other Hawkish Lunatics
Obama’s foreign policy is a box of chocolates, except you always know what you’re going to get __ more war, more bombing, more drone assassinations, more illegal regime change, more chaos and destruction. It’s the company he keeps. He is surrounded by bloodthirsty, arguably mad, imperialist warmongers, megalomaniacs who see themselves as saviors of the Universe, chosen by destiny and blessed with infallibility. Were any of them to undergo sound and objective psychological testing, they would immediately be committed to maximum-security institutions for the criminally insane. Continue reading

Long live the mob!
Free speech is curtailed by governmental action, not by individuals acting sometimes imprudently or illegally. The right to free speech is not absolute and is rightfully and hopefully judiciously curtailed by legal instruments enforced by the state, hate speech being the best example of properly restricted expressions which do not deserve the protection of constitutional imprimatur. Continue reading

Putting Boots (Birkenstocks) on the Ground: Part III
Maybe people won’t talk politics. But once the floodgate is open, people will talk about what’s hurting them, what’s holding them back, how they are getting screwed by the system and those who run things, how they had wonderful dreams and hopes for their children which are being destroyed. So talk to them. And listen. Please! The future of our country depends on it. Continue reading →
