Book Review: “The Russian Peace Threat: Pentagon on Alert” by Ron Ridenour

Ron Ridenour’s “The Russian Peace Threat: Pentagon on Alert” is an extremely informative and powerful work. There’s no way that someone reading this book cover to cover will not grow enormously in an understanding of what the problems are, an appreciation for what needs to be done, and seeing the urgency for immediate, decisive action. It’s like getting a PhD in American Empire. Continue reading

Book Review: “Healing the Land with Tao” by Gary Lindorff

Intentionally or not, with his new book “Healing the Land with Tao”, Gary Lindorff has created a loosely structured operating manual for the soul. We’ll all get different messages and meanings. We will benefit to differing degrees. But if I could choose only one book to help break the chains of my mental and spiritual incarceration, it would be this book. Continue reading

Shameless Self-Promotion – Part 2

Desperate times call for desperate measures. But this? “Buy my book or I’ll shoot this dog”? That’s disgusting! Insane! Maybe you should buy my book so I can get psychiatric help. Continue reading

The Peace Dividend: Could It Really Happen?

When everyday people realize they have the power to demand this fraudulently collected tax payer money back in the form of a $14,952 refund to each and every living citizen, they might just get a little excited. In fact, if the word gets around, I predict they will immediately, forcefully, uncompromisingly demand their money back — every last dollar! Therefore, I’m now convinced that if we as peace advocates make the case for the Peace Dividend with boldness and clarity, success is inevitable. Yes! It could really happen. Continue reading

What? Are You Crazy?

What was crazy last year sometimes becomes the new normal this year. That is the source for hope that the citizens of the U.S. can get their country back on track to serve the interests of all Americans, not just the rich and powerful. Failure is guaranteed if we don’t keep our minds open to new ideas and fresh narratives. This coming year, with the inevitable crash of the economy and even more wars, we will face unprecedented challenges. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Continue reading

The Peace Dividend Concept . . . Now A Book

The Peace Dividend concept originally appeared and is explored in summary form in two previous books, “Candidate Contracts: Taking Back Our Democracy” and “Fighting for the Democracy We Deserve.” But now it has its own dedicated volume, with full explication, justification, and documentation: “The Peace Dividend: The Most Controversial Proposal in the History of the World.” Continue reading

Fighting for the Democracy We Deserve

“Fighting for the Democracy We Deserve” is a manual for constructive voting in the 2016 election. It presents a concrete plan for wresting control of the country and our democracy back from the rich and powerful, and restoring the constitutional mandate of government of the people, by the people, and for the people. There is a financial reward for saving America from authoritarian rule by the corporate elite. If voters unite behind the strategy contained in this short book, each and every U.S. citizen will end up $14,084 richer. Continue reading

Nothing new . . . but who knew or even knows now?

Sometimes it is difficult to make sense out of some of the foreign policy decisions our leaders make. Why did we attack Iraq twice? Why did we destroy Libya? Why did we start the crisis in the Ukraine? Why do we overthrow the democratically elected leaders of some nations, court the friendship and favor of monarchists and tyrants? Why are we now aggressively provoking conflict with Russia and confronting China? This book goes the long mile toward explaining what underlies some of America’s most nefarious activities on the international front. Continue reading
